The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Wednesday passed a unanimous resolution demanding of the federal government to review recent increase in Hajj expenditure and immediate withdrawal of the decision. The resolution was moved by Sahibzada Sanaullah of PPP was also carry the endorsement of the opposition leader, Akram Khan Durrani, Laiq Mohammad Khan, Inayatullah and others stated that the recent increase in Hajj expenditures has hurt the low income and had deprived them from performing the religious obligation.

Similarly, another resolution moved by Inayatullah Khan of Jamaat-e-Islami demanded setting up of a company on the pattern of Pesco to tap the hydel power generation potentials of Malakand region and address the issue of power distribution in area.

Meanwhile, the house also unanimously passed a resolution moved by Nighat Orakzai of PPP demanding provision of psychological counselling to the children of the deceased persons in Sahiwal incident.

Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhunkhwa Youth Affairs Management Immovable Properties Ordinance, 2018, The Code of Civil Procedure (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) (Amendment) Bill, 2019, The KP Specific Relief (Amendments) Bill, 2019, The KP Civil Courts (Amendment) Bill, 2019 and The KP Powers of Attorney (Amendment) Bill, 2019 were also tabled in the house.
